Best in the nation public schools. Tight-knit neighborhoods. Effective county and local government. For these reasons and countless others, the governor has repeated often that New Jersey is the best state in America in which to live and raise a family.
Yet our historically high property taxes have been either a significant financial burden for those who already call this state home or an insurmountable barrier for those who would like to. For four years, our administration has worked hard to make New Jersey stronger and fairer, including a full attack on high property taxes.
