The Greater Atlantic City Chamber is pleased to support ongoing regional efforts to strengthen transportation access and workforce connectivity throughout South Jersey. A recent proposal submitted by the Cape May County Chamber of Commerce and regional educational, healthcare, and workforce stakeholders advocates for enhancements to the South Jersey Connector route to better connect residents with educational institutions, healthcare facilities, and employment opportunities.
The proposed route modifications would improve access between Cape May County and key destinations in Atlantic County, including Atlantic Cape Community College’s Mays Landing and Atlantic City campuses, Stockton University’s Atlantic City facilities, AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, and existing transportation hubs. The recommendations aim to reduce transportation barriers and expand access to education, workforce training, internships, and career opportunities throughout the region.
