Greater Atlantic City Chamber Appoints Danielle Norcross as President,
Leading Next Phase of Business Advocacy and Growth for the Organization
ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. – Today, the Greater Atlantic City Chamber’s Board of Directors named Danielle Norcross as its new President, ushering in a new chapter of regional business advocacy, engagement, and evolution for the organization.
“Danielle’s track record of building member value, aligning strategy to measurable outcomes, and elevating the public voice of business is exactly what this moment calls for,” said Barbara DeMarco, Chair of the Board. “She brings the energy, credibility, and collaborative approach needed to be a champion for all of Atlantic County’s employers – from entrepreneurs to legacy industries – and ensure that the Chamber is out in front on the issues that truly matter.”
Norcross brings more than 13 years of executive leadership in chamber management, strategic planning, and member value creation to the Greater Atlantic City Chamber. Most recently, she served as Chief Strategy Officer for a national association management firm, where she directed marketing, communications, membership, and growth strategy for professional associations. Prior to that, as CEO of the Greater Toms River Chamber of Commerce, she led organization-wide transformation, expanded membership by 20%, and strengthened strategic partnerships – positioning the chamber as a leading voice for the business community.
“I am thrilled to join the Greater Atlantic City Chamber at such a pivotal moment,” said Norcross. “Atlantic County’s business community is expanding, diversifying, and adapting, and the Chamber must evolve in step. The Chamber’s appointment of Norcross reflects a broader, renewed commitment to the continued evolution of the organization – with a heightened focus on member engagement and proactive leadership on policy and priorities that shape economic growth in Atlantic County.
“Chambers are at their best when they are relevant, responsive, and representative,” Norcross added. “Our work ahead is about continuing to build an institution that not only serves its members but speaks for them.”
To officially welcome Norcross and kick off this next phase of member engagement, the Chamber will host “Building Our Future Together Networking Event” on December 16, 2025 – event details will be announced shortly on the Chamber’s website: www.acchamber.com.
Additionally, the Chamber must extend special thanks and gratitude to Jane Asselta, who has served as Leadership Consultant for the Chamber since May.
“Asselta played a pivot role in helping to ensure our operations continued seamlessly, while also guiding our search for new leadership,” added DeMarco. “We are eternally grateful for her time and service to our organization, and know that she will remain a pivotal part of our organization’s history and transformative growth in the years to come.”
