Policy Impact Series: A Conversation with Gubernatorial Candidate Jack Ciattarelli
The Greater Atlantic City Chamber of Commerce hosted a Policy Impact Series luncheon with former Assemblyman Jack Ciattarelli, Republican candidate for governor, on October 7, 2025, at Seaview Golf Course.
Ciattarelli outlined key policy priorities affecting the Greater Atlantic City region, including economic diversification, public safety, and affordability. Central to his platform is strengthening New Jersey’s business climate through pro-growth measures such as reducing regulatory burdens, reinstating the State Department of Commerce to champion the business community, and lowering the corporate business tax rate from 11.5% to 5% over six years.
He also discussed plans to reopen electricity generation plants, build a fourth nuclear reactor, and expand rooftop solar installations to reduce energy costs and position New Jersey once again as a net exporter of power. In addition, Ciattarelli emphasized revitalizing Atlantic City—along with Trenton and Newark—by fostering economic diversification, decreasing state dependence, and creating communities where people want to live, not just visit.
Through the Policy Impact Series, the Greater Atlantic City Chamber provides members with direct access to policymakers and thought leaders, helping ensure the business community’s voice is heard and its priorities are represented in shaping New Jersey’s future.
