Blue Heron Pines Golf Club Listed Among Top U.S. Golf Courses In Golf World's 2010 "Readers' Choice Awards"

Egg Harbor City, New Jersey – October 5, 2009 — Blue Heron Pines Golf Club has been recognized among the 50 best public golf facilities in the country in the second annual Golf World "Readers’ Choice Awards." The distinctions are based solely on the input of Golf World readers, an affiliate of Golf Digest, and can be viewed at www.golfworld.com.

Golf World readers were asked to evaluate the nation’s golf facilities in three distinct categories—private, public and resort—based on 13 different performance criteria, such as quality of the course, course conditions, reputation/prestige and service. More than 46,000 individual facility ratings were received.

While New Jersey had seven private courses listed in the readers' poll, the most on the list of any state, Blue Heron Pines Golf Club was one of only two public courses in New Jersey listed. The course was listed among the top 35 public courses in the nation. Blue Heron Pines received its highest scores in the criteria of condition of course, quality of course, golf practice facilities and overall value.
