Economic Development

 


The Community Development Corporation (CDC) exists to support the economic development in Atlantic County.

Goals of the CDC are:

  • To provide both private and public funding that is otherwise not available for development projects.

  • To support business retention and development in Atlantic County.

  • To seek both private and public investment in Atlantic County.

  • To assist in the planning and implementation of orderly growth in Atlantic County.

  • To provide non-partisan leadership in the coordination of economic development efforts in Atlantic County.

The CDC provides the platform for both private and public organizations at the city, county, state, and federal levels to work together.

The CDC is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. The corporations Board consists of eleven (11) members, six of whom are from the Chamber’s Board of Directors.

In addition to the Board – committees and taskforce’ work to implement the CDC’s program of work.
