Chair’s Council

The Chamber continues to finalize its Chair’s Council membership, having spent the last few months meeting one-on-one with business leaders and other stakeholders to gain consensus on priorities for 2010 and beyond. We have also developed a program of work, a set of managing principles and an organizational structure to guide our efforts.

Our vision for the Chair’s Council is to is to be the leadership group for our community that will serve to advance Atlantic City and Atlantic County’s interests during a critical period of time in securing the economic future of this region. We will build on the advocacy efforts that we have undertaken for the past 18 months with our Chairs Council and Advocacy Committee, which will now be one and the same.

An informational meeting of the Chair’s Council was held on November 10, 2009 to report on planning for 2010. A follow-up meeting was held on January 21 to review priorities and program of work.
