The Ambassador Committee was established as a coalition of business professionals who act as Chamber representatives within the business community. The mission of the committee is to serve as a public relations arm of the Chamber to welcome and recruit new members, nurture existing members, and support member retention efforts. Committee volunteers are visible assisting the Chamber staff at monthly business after hours mixers, bi-monthly networking luncheons, and premier events. They are always available to answer questions in regards to membership to ensure that all members receive the maximum benefit from their investment.
Meet The Ambassadors
This month the Chamber would like to introduce to the membership one of the original Ambassadors, Paul Grossman of PAULGRO Consulting. He specializes in Database Software. Paul is now overseeing the direction of Small Business Communications for the Chamber and has generously used his talents to serve on the Ambassador Committee. Members are invited to contact Paul with any questions about the Chamber website, advertising in the E-voice monthly newsletter, submitting E-mail blast messages, and help with logging into the chamber website.

Thank you Paul for your continued commitment to the committee.
Maximizing Your Chamber Investment
Turn contacts into customers by attending Chamber events such as the bi-monthly networking luncheons. These luncheons include an informative guest speaker, the opportunity for each individual to introduce yourself and your business, and also have a fabulous dining experience at one of our member restaurants. Mark your calendar for the upcoming Bi-monthly Networking Luncheon on
February 9th, 2010 at Il Mulino.
Power Networking Tip
Regardless of gender, the business professional who initiates a handshake has a distinct advantage by being direct, taking the initiative, and establishing the control.
"Handshaking is the most pleasant thing I do." Warren Harding, 29th President of the United States
