Business Advocacy Update
by Rodger Gottlieb,
Director of Business Advocacy
The Chamber serves as the voice of the business community with elected officials and other governmental and public sector individuals and agencies at the local, county and state levels. Our business advocacy efforts are designed to foster a stable, predictable and sustainable climate for businesses in our region. We believe public policy should serve the needs and interests of the public, without acting as a deterrent to economic growth and development.
A focused, systematic approach to business advocacy has never been more important than now. In our focus groups and one-on-one meetings with business and public sector leaders over the past several months, all agreed that we are at a critical crossroads for Atlantic City and the entire region. Our future growth and success are dependent on the enlightened efforts of a strong group of leaders from both the private and public sectors working together to address a multitude of issues.
