United Way of Atlantic County In The News - The 6th Annual Auction for the Community
The fun begins at 6 p.m. in the Traymore Ballroom at Bally's Atlantic City. The event theme is Celebrating New Jersey, and the evening will be hosted by NBC TV-40 News Anchor Michelle Dawn Mooney. Congressman Frank LoBiondo will also be honored during the program. The evening features live and silent auctions, cocktails, heavy hors d'oeuvres and a dinner buffet. Ticket prices are $100.00 per person, and there are discounts available for a table of 10 ($800). This year we are unveiling a new competition, sponsored by Wimberg Funeral Homes, that is sure to have the community talking the next day about the winner. Local florists will enter their best effort into a competition among centerpiece arrangements to be determined by the event attendees.
