Solar Roof Installation Progresses at Atlantic City Convention Center
Will Be the Largest Single-Roof Solar System in the U.S.
Work is progressing on schedule to install the largest single-roof solar project in the country at the Atlantic City Convention & Visitors Authority.
When completed at the end of December, the project will consist of approximately 13,486 modules/panels and cover 290,000 square feet. It will generate 2.36 megawatts of power, avoid the release of 2,349 tons of carbon dioxide per year and provide 26% of the Convention Center’s electrical needs.
The solar installation is part of a 20-year power purchase agreement with Pepco Energy Services of Arlington, VA.
